The EAEU Information Portal on Deposit Protection was established in 2024 as a unified platform for presenting information on deposit insurance (guaranteeing) in the EAEU member states, the results of joint activities by deposit insurers, and information about international events in the field of deposit protection within the EAEU. The EAEU Information Portal also enables the effective exchange of information between members of the Expert Group on harmonization of legislation in the field of insurance (guaranteeing) of bank deposits, liquidation, resolution and bankruptcy of credit institutions in the Eurasian Economic Union under the Advisory Committee on Financial Markets of the Eurasian Economic Commission, as well as the Working Group on Cooperation in the Field of Digitalization, Automation, and Information Technologies under the Council of Heads of Deposit Insurers of the Eurasian Economic Union.
