The first meeting of the Expert Group on Harmonization in 2026 was held

On March 26, 2026, a regular meeting of the Expert Group on Harmonization of Legislation in the Sphere of Deposit Insurance (Guarantee), Liquidation, Financial Recovery, and Bankruptcy of Credit Institutions within the Eurasian Economic Union, under the Advisory Committee on Financial Markets of the Eurasian Economic Commission, was held via videoconference.
During the meeting, members of the Expert Group:
- finalized the 2026 Work Plan for the Expert Group;
- agreed upon the 2026 Schedule for the Revision of Expert Opinions;
- approved the agenda for the Expert Group meeting to be held on May 13-14, 2026, in Minsk (Republic of Belarus);
- discussed the interaction between the Expert Group and the Banking Sector Subgroup of the Working Group on Harmonization of Legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States in the Financial Sphere under the Advisory Committee on Financial Markets of the Eurasian Economic Commission in 2026.
