EAEU Deposit Insurers Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

On December 10, 2025, the deposit insurance (guarantee) organizations of the EAEU member states signed a new Memorandum of Cooperation. The previous agreement, concluded in 2019, remains valid until December 31, 2025.

The document will allow the parties to consolidate the results of the work accomplished, define new areas of cooperation, and create a legal and organizational framework for further interaction.

The event took place in Moscow within the framework of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Deposit Insurance Organizations of the Eurasian Economic Union member states, with the participation of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Deposit Guarantee Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Memorandum was signed by the Director of the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Armenia Hermine Harutyunyan, the Acting General Director of the Agency for Guaranteed Reimbursement of Bank Deposits (of Individuals) of the Republic of Belarus Svetlana Lega, the Chairman of the Kazakhstan Deposit Guarantee Fund JSC Adil Utembayev, the Executive Director of the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic Kadyrbek Bukuev, and the Acting General Director of the Deposit Insurance Agency of the Russian Federation Maria Filatova.
