Meetings of the Expert Group on Harmonization of Legislation Held in October 2025

On October 15, 16, and 23, 2025, the Expert Group on harmonization of legislation in the field of insurance (guaranteeing) of bank deposits, liquidation, resolution and bankruptcy of credit institutions in the Eurasian Economic Union under the Advisory Committee on Financial Markets of the Eurasian Economic Commission (hereinafter – the Expert Group) held its regular meetings via videoconference.

During the sessions, the Expert Group reviewed and approved sections of the draft document “Coordinated Proposals for the Harmonization of Legislation of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union Regarding the Operation of Deposit Insurance (Guarantee) Systems.” The approved items include:

• Chapter 4. Sources and Uses of Deposit Insurance System Funds
• Chapter 5. Public Awareness of the Deposit Insurance System
