Director General Appointed at the Agency of the Russian Federation

A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the State Corporation “Deposit Insurance Agency” was held on December 24, 2025, chaired by Elvira S. Nabiullina, Governor of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia).
Upon the recommendation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alexander Yuryevich Zhdanov has been appointed General Director of the Russian Federation Agency, effective January 13, 2026.
Since 2000, A.Y. Zhdanov has held various positions at the Bank of Russia; since June 2017, he served as the Director of the Financial Recovery Department of the Bank of Russia.
